Attorney Nicholas M. Wajda received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Nicholas finished law school ranked first in his graduating class and was heavily involved in the Thomas Jefferson Law Review as both a writer and article’s editor. In addition, Nicholas received recognition for his work as an articles editor for the law review, receiving the articles editor of the year award for 2007-2008.
Prior to law school, Nicholas attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina on a combination academic and athletic scholarship. Nicholas received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics while balancing a full schedule as a four year letterman on Furman’s Division I Varsity baseball team. During his senior season, Nicholas helped guide the Paladins to a Southern Conference (SoCon) Championship and a spot in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
Currently, Nicholas is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada. Nicholas is admitted in the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California, as well as the District of Nevada. Throughout his career, Nicholas has filed over 3,000 successful bankruptcy cases and helped many other clients with their debt issues through non-bankruptcy avenues. Along with his strong work ethic, Nicholas prides himself on being completely available for his clients. Attorney Michael T. Reid Attorney Michael T. Reid received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and joined the Wajda Law Group in 2015. Michael heads the firm’s San Diego office and focuses his practice on bankruptcy law and estate planning. Michael began his legal career as an associate with a law firm in San Diego and advised municipalities in all aspects of city business, including planning and zoning, tax, and public contracting. Prior to joining the Wajda Law Group, Michael was a Deputy City Attorney with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office and advised the City on a variety of economic development matters, including the negotiation and drafting of corporate tax incentive agreements and complex property development agreements, legislation on public infrastructure financing, and post-redevelopment issues arising from the complex statutory scheme that dissolved California redevelopment agencies.
Since joining the Wajda Law Group, Michael has represented his bankruptcy and estate planning clients in a professional, responsible and efficient manner, considering each client’s unique circumstances, to achieve clients’ goals and obtain optimal results.
