Attorney Nicholas M. Wajda received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Nicholas finished law school ranked first in his graduating class and was heavily involved in the Thomas Jefferson Law Review as both a writer and article’s editor. In addition, Nicholas received recognition for his work as an articles editor for the law review, receiving the articles editor of the year award for 2007-2008.
Prior to law school, Nicholas attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina on a combination academic and athletic scholarship. Nicholas received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics while balancing a full schedule as a four year letterman on Furman’s Division I Varsity baseball team. During his senior season, Nicholas helped guide the Paladins to a Southern Conference (SoCon) Championship and a spot in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
Currently, Nicholas is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada. Nicholas is admitted in the Central, Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California, as well as the District of Nevada. Throughout his career, Nicholas has filed over 3,000 successful bankruptcy cases and helped many other clients with their debt issues through non-bankruptcy avenues. Attorney Ethan K. Chin received his Juris Doctor from University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Ethan was active in the community by working for a California Senator as well as at the school’s Federal Tax Clinic. As a legislative intern for the senator, Ethan addressed local constituents’ concerns and analyzed potential effects of proposed legislation. At the Federal Tax Clinic, Ethan helped low-income families resolve their tax liabilities with the IRS by successfully negotiating multiple offers in compromise.
Prior to joining Wajda Law Group, Ethan practiced immigration law and has filed numerous family and employment based petitions as well handling deportation cases before the immigration court and the board of immigration appeals. Ethan also worked as a judicial extern in the Honorable Robert N. Kwan’s chamber at the US Bankruptcy Court in Santa Ana. As a judicial extern, Ethan attended hearings, analyzed petitions and motions presented before the court, and made recommendation to the judge for his rulings.
Prior to law school, Ethan attended University of California Irvine, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science. After receiving his Bachelor degrees, Ethan worked for a apparel and footwear company, eventually rising up to be the Director of Operations. Ethan was successful in forecasting future trends and successfully negotiating contract terms with international corporations such as Nike and Adidas.

Attorney Michael T. Reid received his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and joined the Wajda Law Group in 2015. Michael heads the firm’s San Diego office and focuses his practice on estate planning, probate and bankruptcy law. After law school, Michael was an associate with a law firm in San Diego and advised municipalities in all aspects of city business, including planning and zoning, tax, open government and public contracting. Most recently, Michael was a Deputy City Attorney with the San Diego City Attorney’s Office and advised the City on a variety of economic development matters, including the negotiation and drafting of corporate tax incentive agreements and complex property development agreements, legislation on public infrastructure financing, and post-redevelopment issues arising from the complex statutory scheme that dissolved California redevelopment agencies.
Throughout his career, Michael has given back to the local community by volunteering and providing free legal services to local nonprofit organizations engaged in proving toys to children with serious illnesses and raising funds towards the construction of an animal shelter prior to law school. Michael attended the Ohio State University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Currently, Michael is licensed to practice law in California. Michael is admitted in the Southern District of California.
